The city is one of the most diverse of its kind, thanks to the steel mills, Lorain Works. Citizens from over 70 nationalities call the city home and one of the highlights of the summer months is the Lorain International Festival.
Lorain has plenty of events for the entire family, couples, and singles to enjoy. The Easter Bunny makes an appearance at the parks in Lorain, each year. There are also plenty of options for recreation with spring sporting camps and baseball being a favorite activity with Cleveland State and the Indians MLB team close by. The quaint, downtown area is just another exciting part of the city with shops, restaurants, and plenty of other places to enjoy in and out of town.
