Old South Homes - A Larger Home, A Better Price
R.E Carroll Construction, Inc., was formed as a custom home builder in the early 1980's by a local father and son team. During the 1980's, as the company's reputation grew, so did the business.
In 1998, the name of the company was formally changed from R.E. Carroll Construction, Inc., to the Old South Home Company. Old South Home Company is one of the top residential builders in Guilford County and is still locally owned.
Old South Home Company is able to offer superior value to it's customers by having the low overhead expenses of a local builder, yet also having national buying power. All Old South Home Company operations and expenses are local. To their buyers, this means that they can operate on a lower overhead margin than most national builders. These savings in turn can be passed back to their buyers through lower priced homes.
