"Finding your web site has changed our lives. We were so inspired by this cute little neighborhood that we decided to buy our first home. I recommended your web site to my sister in Dallas, TX who is looking to buy. Hopefully, she will find it just as helpful." -Mickey, Chicago, IL

Smyrna, Tennessee was formed in the mid 1800's. At that time, the community was filled with lavish plantations and larger homes. The plantation of Sam Davis is still located in Smyrna and has been preserved and listed as a historic landmark. Davis is known for giving himself up and compromising his safety with Union soldiers to protect the confederate soldiers and their secrets. Smyrna has been incorporated twice in the city's history. The first time the city was incorporated in 1869 but rescinded and later was incorporated a second time in 1915.
US News has listed Smyrna as one of the top ten places to retire in the United States. There are likely many reasons for this, ranging from the favorable climate to the positive community spirit. Smyrna is just 30 miles from Nashville though the city offers plenty of wonderful activities and a bustling economic structure filled with great shopping amenities and fabulous dining.
