Conyers, Georgia was incorporated as a full city back in 1854, though the history of the city was formed long before that. In fact, earlier in the 1800's John Holcomb, one of the area blacksmiths built a log cabin. Today, the court house sits on the same spot where that log cabin once stood. Located in Rockdale County, Conyers and Rockdale have grown together from infancy to present day, where both areas offer a great deal of positive things for local residents.
Conyers is a middle sized city. The values are definitely small town oriented though you shouldn't be surprised to find some of the best big city amenities in this town. One of the prime attractions is Olde Town, which is the downtown area of the city. In Olde Town you will find numerous businesses, unique shops, and restaurants that differ in flavor but come together with many excellent tastes.
